Sushi

References from Wikipedia.
The first sushi ever made was from South-East Asia. Sushi means sour tasting. It is called that because the fish was soured by the soured rice.

Sushi refers to any dish made with vinegared rice. It is from Japan. Futomaki is the typical looking sushi you see in the shops. It comes in circles with nori (seaweed) on the outside keeping it together. It then has a ring of rice. Inside that it has at least two fillings. They are normally vegetarian with cucumber and bamboo but can have meat. Examples of these are chopped tuna and whitefish flakes.

Nori is edible seaweed. It is imported from Japan and China.

Cucumber is originally from South Asia, but now grows on most countries.

Bamboo grows in a lot of different climates. From cold to tropical climates it grows fast. It is not found in Europe though.

Tuna is found in warm seas. It is caught a lot as food so it is in danger of becoming extinct.

There are many different types of whitefish found all around the world. The common whitefish is found in north-west Europe to Siberia.

Rice is the main ingredient in all types of sushi. Here is a chart of the top 20 rice producers from Wikipedia.

Crème brûlée

Parapharsing from wikipedia,

This is my famous meal from France. Crème brûlée also known as burnt cream. It is a dessert consisting of a custard base topped with a layer of hard caramel. It is normally served at room temperature. The caramel is usually added just before serving. Sugar is sprinkled on top and then it is caramelized with a blow torch to form the caramel. The custard base is usually vanilla flavoured, but can also be lemon, orange, chocolate to name a few.
